Communication in the working environment 5 / Changing behaviour in the work environment
Communication in the workplace has a significant impact on the effectiveness of the organization and how employees perform their duties. In organizations where there is negative and unpleasant communication, an unpleasant working atmosphere, the efficiency of employees is much lower, the management is regularly misinformed about the work performed, and the work is performed carelessly, without concern for its quality.
Changes in behaviour and attitudes in a positive direction cannot be achieved by massive dismissal of employees and managers or the application of punishments, as employees in the negative environment do not realize their potential, which leads to frequent employee turnover and high training expenses. Therefore, other mechanisms must be used.
