In this workshop “Three Days in the Film World” you will learn to understand cinema and create your own, if not your first, then certainly cool film.
For: Those interested in filming, cinema, and the language of cinema. This course will be interesting for both beginners and already “experienced” film and video makers. For those who want to understand how the moving image works and create their own short film, commercial, video story for social networks, etc.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:
- understand the language of films and moving images;
- “read” visual material;
- recognize film emotions, tricks and manipulations;
- create your own films in a short but comprehensive format;
- understand and concoct;
- to “talk” to the viewer through visual content.

TOPICS
Part 1 Theory and discussions (duration – 3 hours)
- Training of the eyes. Examples from Netflix to the closed Arthouse;
- qualitative and competent analysis of cinematographic tools;
- film industry hooks and tricks that evoke feelings and emotions;
- to compare the incomparable and explain the inexplicable (we speak in the director’s visual language).
Part 2 Based on the basis of the previous day (duration – 8 hours, including an hour for lunch)
- direction and its instruments. Application in both usual and professional environments;
- scene scriptwriter, script – we take apart the tools and learn to use them;
- dramaturgy and other laws of cinema.
Part 3 Practice (duration – 8 hours, including an hour for lunch)
- analysis of acquired knowledge;
- practical work;
- Start of movie making;
- Creation of our best short film (up to 1 minute), in which we can use all the rules and knowledge;
- big premiere.
* Each participant will be able to perform the practical work with their smartphone, and will also have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with and try professional equipment.
