In this cycle of seminars, you will find out how to facilitate personal and professional growth, self-motivation, efficient decision making and other processes for work improvement by using such tools as consciousness and emotional intelligence, as well as evaluation of workers and training.

SEMINAR TOPICS

Part 1. Introducing consciousness in the work environment.

Consciousness as a mechanism is a success story from an individual’s point of view, and this tool may implement a lot of positive changes within an organisation and in terms of its performance.

Slowing down factors often are complications relating to the consciousness mechanism or an individual’s inability to understand and use those.

During this lecture You will acquire:

  1. knowledge about consciousness being a tool for self-motivation in professional development in the long term;
  2. information about changes in group behaviour in small and medium organisations where group work organisation is very important for an organisation to function properly;
  3. basics of the introduction of consciousness tools that are needed to improve a work environment, self-rewarding systems, work routines and team communication;
  4. use of empathy and emotions in a work environment to achieve a long-term ability to act even in an environment where it is difficult to feel satisfaction due to a heavy workload or extended environment;
  5. process of fast and responsible decision making by using fast thinking techniques that can be even more efficient and allow making decisions even faster if one understands his abilities;
  6. introduction of mentally healthy work environment formation principles in the work environment.
Part 2. Emotional intelligence in the work environment.

Emotions are a tool that helps us to control ourselves, and others and ensure successful communication in the work and private environment. Emotional control often is associated with restraining from showing emotions rather than with their successful and conscious use. Even so-called “negative” emotions can be used efficiently.

Emotional intelligence is a tool that helps to achieve desired results without sacrificing own or others’ interests.

During this lecture You will familiarise yourself with five emotional intelligence tools:

  1. formation of social competencies in the work environment aiming at the formation of employees and managers’ ability to independently maintain positive communication that helps to achieve a productive workflow;
  2. consciousness mechanisms that allow an employee or manager to develop a professional environment without managerial support or communication;
  3. introducing self-regulatory mechanisms to protect oneself and the work environment from possible risks of burning out;
  4. formation of empathy so that not only feel emotions experienced by others but also learn from previous experiences positively;
  5. introducing self-motivation in the work environment to successfully lead oneself to the achievement of set goals and to be able to perform long-term official duties where the outcome is not sufficiently visible.
Part 3. Practical exercises in the work environment.

To promote the tools of mindfulness and gratitude in the work environment, it is necessary to stick to the rhythm and necessary routine. This routine in the organization will ensure openness and indicate common goals in improving the organizational climate, as well as contribute to the well-being of each individual in the organization.

In the lecture, we will consider practical methods on the following topics:

  1. assessment of satisfaction in a group and individually;
  2. work-life balance;
  3. work with challenges;
  4. side view and view from the work environment;
  5. conflict and working with it;
